San Francisco, California

San Francisco asks a lot of a car. The grades on Divisadero and Gough test brakes and patience. Mornings begin inside the marine layer; afternoons end under coastal UV with nothing between the sun and your clear coat. Much of the city parks on the street, often beneath trees, always within reach of ocean air. Cole’s Auto Detailing was built for exactly this: a fully mobile detailing service that comes to your home or workplace anywhere in the city.

The work happens at your curb or in your garage. The team arrives, connects to your power and water, and gets on with it: interior and exterior detailing, paint correction, Gyeon ceramic coatings. The cars range from Ferraris and Porsches in Pacific Heights garages to Teslas that commute down 101 and daily drivers that earn their keep. There are 150+ five-star Google ratings behind the process, and payment is collected only after the job is done.

What the Marine Layer Does to Paint

The marine layer is not just weather; it is a treatment your paint never asked for. Overnight fog leaves a film of coastal moisture on every panel, carrying traces of Pacific salt that etch quietly at clear coat and trim. When it burns off, midday UV takes the second shift. And because so many San Francisco cars sleep outdoors (under the trees of Noe Valley, the Panhandle, and along Dolores) bird droppings do their acidic work faster than any wax can resist.

The response is layered like the problem. Wash chemistry that lifts salt without marring. One-step and two-step paint correction that erases what the city has already done. And Gyeon ceramic coatings that give fog, salt, and sun a hard, slick surface to wear against instead of your paint, three-, five-, and eight-year options, all applied wherever your car spends its nights.

Around San Francisco

Same van, same standard. These are simply the streets it knows best.

Pacific Heights

Garage-kept collections above the bay get studio-level correction and coating without a single mile added to the odometer.

Nob Hill

When parking is a negotiation and the grades are serious, a detailer who comes to your building is simply the practical choice.

The Marina

Closest to the salt and the fog line, Marina cars benefit most visibly from a coating standing between paint and the bay.

Noe Valley

Sunnier than much of the city, with tree-lined blocks that leave sap and droppings on anything parked overnight.

Outer Sunset

The fog arrives first and leaves last out here, and paint west of 19th Avenue carries the salt to show for it.

What the neighbors already know

The studio comes to the hill

Fully mobile, no shop, no drop-off. The team drives to your address, hooks into your power and water, and works where the car sits: driveway, garage, or office.

Coatings chosen for the coast

Gyeon ceramic coatings in three-, five-, and eight-year grades give fog, salt air, and UV a sacrificial surface to fight instead of your paint.

Pay when it is finished

Payment is collected only once the job is done and the car is back in your hands. The work has to stand up first.

A record built in the city

San Francisco FAQs

Where does the team work if I do not have a driveway?

Cole’s works wherever your car is parked at your home or workplace, as long as the team can reach power and water: a garage, a driveway, or a building with an outlet and a spigot nearby. Those two hookups are the only requirement; everything else arrives with the team.

What hours can you come to San Francisco?

Weekdays from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and weekends from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Evening slots suit downtown schedules; weekend mornings leave a full day for larger jobs like paint correction and ceramic coating.

Does ceramic coating make sense in San Francisco’s climate?

This is arguably where a coating earns the most. Marine-layer moisture, salt air, and UV work on unprotected paint year-round here. Gyeon coatings start at $798 for the three-year, $2,196 for the five-year, and $2,996 for the eight-year, each applied at your location.
